Memorial Day is a cause for celebration, not because of parades, barbecues, no work or school...it is in remembrance off those who sacrificed for us so that we could live freely in pursuit of our happiness. Many dedicated and sacrificial men and women gave their very lives and yes, their families did also sacrifice, for our benefits. Memorial Day...remember them...say a prayer...cherish those who have fallen or lived in supreme dedication to all of our wellbeing....say thanks to someone who served us and even take the time to give "service" to someone who did. Thank God for all of our veterans (and their families also)...give them a special place in heaven, please.
