Patience

We hear it said that patience is a virtue. A virtue is moral excellence and righteousness; goodness....implying it is something we should be aiming for in many areas of living life....to wait patiently, to be patient or exerting patience, when doing something or dealing with someone...good things are worth waiting for and not many things can be done in an excellent manner if we are in  rush. Therefore, it is helpful to slow our lives down and do things carefully and with thought, to have relationships with deeper meanings rather than quick, spontaneous encounters and of course, taking time to listen and be involved with whomever we choose to interact with. I think that that is the reason people who go to the doctor or hospitals are called "patients" - they have to acknowledge it may be a while before they are better - they have to have "patience" (patients).
